MEet our founder, Ed.
Ed Phillips (aka Sid Stone) is a Grammy-nominated, platinum-certified songwriter, producer, and creative strategist working across contemporary music and culture.
As a writer and producer, Ed has collaborated with artists including Fred again.., RAYE, Joy Anonymous, Natasha Bedingfield, Four Tet, and D Double E, contributing to over 500 million streams, three UK Top 40 singles, multiple gold and silver certifications, and the platinum, Grammy-nominated record ‘leavemealone’.
Alongside his creative output, Ed is the founder of Decent MGMT, where he develops and represents artists across electronic and alternative music. His work includes helping launch DJ/producer Badger’s UK Top 40 breakthrough in 2024, developing viral DJ/producer Louis Bekk, and managing acclaimed singer-songwriter Aidan Martin.
In 2024, Ed co-founded Honeybee Music, a publishing and creative venture based at The Carriage House in New York, in partnership with Believe Publishing. He leads A&R and strategy, focusing on identifying distinctive UK and international talent and building durable, globally relevant catalogues.
Ed has also worked across brand and event partnerships with Soundboks, Patrón, Von Dutch, AllSaints, and Tinder, including the Across the Pond NYC event series, credited with reigniting US interest in contemporary UK dance music..
Known for a direct, active network with senior A&Rs and label presidents across the majors, Ed connects talent with world-class opportunities and builds projects with cultural impact and lasting value.
